How our cat lounge works

What does a cat lounge experience look like?

If you've never been to a cat cafe before, we've prepared a step-by-step guide so you can have the best experience.

Step 1 | How our cat lounge works

Step 1: Cat lounge experience

Cat lounge experience

This is what a regular visit to our cat cafe for a private session will look like.

1 | Book online

Book your private session online. If you'd like to stay longer than 20 minutes, leave us a message when making your booking.

4 | Enter the cat lounge

Now it's time to have fun! Our staff will guide you to the cat lounge. We have two rooms for our adults cats and kittens, we'll have you spend time in both.

2 | Pre-order refreshments

As an optional extra, you can pre-order any drinks or meals, so it will be ready for you after your session with the cats.

5 | Coffee and snacks

After your cat session, wash your hands and head to our cafe where you can relax, indulge in refreshments and browse our cute cat related gifts!

3 | Review the rules

Before entering, we ask that you read our cat lounge rules. Then we'll share information about our rescues.

6 | Adoption enquiries

If you're interested in adopting, feel free to speak with our staff or contact us via email (jijirescuecatcafe@gmail.com) or give us a call 0412350253.

Step 2: Our policies & rules

Our policies & rules

At Jiji Rescue Cat Cafe, we prioritise the wellbeing of our rescue cats and your experience. Please review our rules and policies before you visit to ensure a positive environment for everyone.

Follow Our Inductions and Rules

We prioritise the welfare of our cats and want to minimise any anxiety. We reserve the right to deny entry or ask anyone to leave if our rules are not followed.

2

Respect our Cats' Natural Behaviours

Please do not force interactions or disturb sleeping cats. They are not here for entertainment, our goal is to share a calm and relaxing time together. Remember, cats may sleep a lot and can be shy around new people.

3

Alcohol Policy

Anyone under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted in the cat lounge.

4

Liability Disclaimer

We are not responsible for any lost items, injuries or damages.

5

Group Size Limit

A maximum of 6 people per booking is allowed, including infants (>2 years old).

6

Child Supervision Requirement

Children 12 years old and under require an adult supervisor (18 years or older).

  • Each child requires their own supervisor
For example, if there are two children, there must be two supervising adults, one for each child.

  • Adult supervisors must accompany children into the rooms
We have separate rooms for both cats and kittens, and need to ensure dedicated adult supervision for each child.

  • Supervisors pay an entry fee

Thank you for your cooperation, we look forward to your visit!
